Thick Socks 

Thick socks are a crucial addition to our care packages. For those experiencing homelessness, proper foot care and protection can be a daily challenge. Thick, warm socks provide comfort, protection, and insulation from the natural elements. They help prevent blisters, sores, and frostbite, which can be common issues for homeless people living on the streets.

Non-Perishable Foods

Non-perishable foods are a lifeline for individuals experiencing homelessness. With limited access to resources and a constant supply of food, these items, such as canned goods, granola bars, and dried fruits will provide a source of sustenance that can be consumed directly without any preparation. They offer a reliable means of nourishment and can be a crucial supplement to whatever meals are accessible at the time. 

Hygiene Kit

A hygiene kit will also be a fundamental component of our care packages. It includes essential toiletries such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, and hand sanitiser. These items are vital for maintaining personal hygiene on a daily basis. For individuals experiencing homelessness, access to regular showers and clean toiletries can be scarce. Therefore, providing a hygiene kit will directly address immediate physical needs.

Clean Blanket

A clean blanket is also a crucial component of our care packages. By providing warmth, comfort, and security in chilly weather and cold winter mornings, these blankets will offer individuals experiencing homelessness a sense of security. For those living  without stable shelter, staying warm during colder months can be a formidable struggle. 

Water Bottle

A reusable water bottle is a valuable item for those living on the streets. Access to clean drinking water is a basic living necessity that is often taken for granted. With a quality, refillable bottle, this will allow homeless individuals to stay hydrated, allowing them to seek out public water sources without having to rely solely on disposable containers. 

Menstrual Hygiene Products

Menstrual hygiene products are also an essential inclusion in our care packages. Having access to these products is not only a matter of hygiene but also of dignity and health. By providing menstrual hygiene products, we aim to alleviate a source of stress and discomfort to those facing homelessness, allowing them to navigate their daily life with greater ease and maintain a healthy physical well-being.
